We leave in just about 4 days and the excitement level is getting high. This morning at church we had a send-off of our WV team. Those who could make it were brought up front, we shared about the trip, who was going and had the church pray for us. Here is what was prayed for:
- Safety in traveling
- That the van would run well!
- Safety in working
- That we would be a good witness to the communities we are serving
- That God would meet each of us where we are at.
One of the greatest thing about trips like this is that people at each end of the faith spectrum all grow through serving. No matter where you are in your walk of faith, from still investigating to a follower of Christ for decades you grow through serving.
As we anticipate an incredible experience please join me in praying for each member of our team. That God would work in our lives, that we would grow in community and each be drawn to Him!
